Steve Teare is an illustrator living in the hilly area of Northwest Philadelphia. His comics and drawings have appeared in The New Yorker, The Believer, The Nib, The Philadelphia Inquirer, VICE and elsewhere. His portfolio won the Silver Award at the 2024 Society of Children’s Book Writers and Illustrators Winter Conference. He is represented by Erica Rand Silverman at Stimola Literary Studio. He lives with his wife, their daughter, and a dog called Pickles.
